On July 16, 2020, school districts in Ventura County announced that schools will not open this fall for face-to-face learning, but they will be 100% remote learning again, due to COVID-19 concerns. Today, Governor Newsom announced that schools in counties on the watchlist cannot open this fall for at-school learning. It should be noted that Ventura County is on the watchlist, but just barely.
As schools have re-opened around the world, there have been many scientific studies recently published that show that school attendance poses almost no COVID-19 risk to students, teachers and families.
Therefore, I personally support a full reopening here in the Conejo Valley. But, it is important to me to be a voice for parents, students, teachers and taxpayers, so I want to know what YOU think. I am trying to follow the best and current science on this, so if there are scientific studies that show otherwise, please contact me because I want to know.
There are only TWO questions on this survey so it should only take you a minute. The reason we ask for contact info is to ensure that people don't accidentally vote more than once. There are checkboxes to indicate if you want to be contacted or not. Thanks in advance for your help - and please share this survey with others.
