GRANT R. BRIMHALL ENDORSES SANDEE EVERETT FOR CVUSD SCHOOL BOARD
Thousand Oaks, CA – Dr. Grant R. Brimhall, retired Thousand Oaks City Manager, announced today his endorsement of Sandee Everett in her candidacy for the Conejo Valley Board of Education.
“I enthusiastically endorse Sandee Everett and invite you to join me in her candidacy for the Conejo Valley School District Board of Education,” states Dr. Brimhall. “Sandee has the background, the temperament, the experience, and the values that we need on our school board.”
Seasoned residents of Thousand Oaks know Grant Brimhall as the highly respected retired city manager that gave more than twenty years of service at the helm of Thousand Oaks. Newer residents in the Conejo Valley know Dr. Brimhall’s name because the public library is named after him.

About Sandee Everett
Sandee Everett is the mother of five, her youngest three children still attend CVUSD schools. Her oldest two graduated from Newbury Park High School. Sandee is the daughter of two public school teachers. She has a master’s degree in education from Purdue University with a concentration in school counseling. Sandee has held an active California license as a school counselor since 2011. Upon graduation and completing all requirements for licensure, including several hundred hours working as an unpaid intern in elementary, middle and high schools, Sandee has chosen to work as a full-time mother and community volunteer. She lives with her children and husband of 23 years, Craig, in Newbury Park.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District was founded in 1974 and comprises the areas in Ventura County contained within Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, parts of Westlake Village, as well as some adjacent unincorporated areas. CVUSD serves approximately 21,000 students.
